Biography

Justin Christopher Derrico was born May 26, 1982 in Long Island, New York. He then moved to Charlottesville, Virginia with his family when he was 8 years old. Justin has been playing guitar since his teenage years and spent his school years at Shenandoah University in Virginia. Justin then attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California and graduated at Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT), where he teaches Open Counseling and Private Lessons when not on tour.

Justin wrapped up a record breaking tour with pop phenomenon P!nk this summer and has previously collaborated with artists including The Calling, Robin Thicke, Bonnie McKee and many others.

Justin also plays lead guitar for rock band Lexington Queen their new album is available on iTunes.

Boldly Going Nowhere is the title of the new record by Justin Derrico which is currently being mastered and will be available on iTunes and Amazon next month.

Justin Derrico joined pop phenomenon P!NK back in 2006 after taking over the role from fellow MI grad Rafael Moreira. “I auditioned for it with several other guys and because we hit it off right off the bat, they hired me on the spot.” - Performing Musician

The Calling

In 2004 Justin Derrico was given the chance to tour with rock band The Calling. "I always new Chops was destined for great things. His guitar playing ability was always way beyond his years from the first day he came in and auditioned for me." - Alex Band
